It is a pity but I trust the band will be as effective although I may have some difficulty in adapting to the new female singer (they will have one I guess).

yes, the female vocalist left and no matter how amazing and in a class of its own draconian remains it'll never hit that perfection it reached with lisa and anders singing together :,{ oh well, plus ca bloody change, when are they coming to australia?????????

i suspect you're right, tartainia, but maybe draconian was always in a class of its own. it seems to me the perfect gothic doom metal band. i don't know what you mean about sirenia - there's no big difference in their albums (tho maybe @S&S was their best) - but i share your doubts about tristania, which was up there with draconian after goatee boy's departure. without vibeke, they no longer have the female vocals to die for - draconian does and so does ava inferi imho

Considering the output of Sirenia ( last 2 albums) and the future output of Tristania (???) . Do you think that Draconian are now in a class of their own???

Its amazing how this genre of music and bands like DRACONIAN,Tristania and Sirenia (early) in particular have the ability to transport the listener to an utterly beautiful place.I am new to this group (the people,not the band) and it feels great to be among fellow Draconians. :)
