    2.0

haha. we are almost completely opposite.

  • no order:
1 daydream nation - sonic youth
2 washing machine - sonic youth
    3 white album - beatles
    4 rubber soul - beatles
5 the infamous - mobb deep
    6 36 chambers - wu
7 whatever people say i am, that's what i'm not - artic monkeys
    8 donuts - j dilla
    9 champion sound - j dilla x madlib
10 last spot between: speaking in tongues - talking heads, by the way - rhcp, the mouse and mask - mf doom x danger mouse, mos and kweli are black star - black star, soundpieces - lootpack, midnight marauders - tribe, queen is dead - smiths, parallel lines - blondie ...

pretty hard... i have a lot more.

  • 7.9

you lost points for the arctic monkeys and mobb deep being in the top ten and having 2 albums by the beatles and sonic youth.

but nice list, interesting choices. Jdilla and madlib sounds rad, i've never heard that album...

    /downloads.

  • mobb deep was great before they sold out. the infamous... is an essential album for all hip-hop enthusiasts. samples are great (most sounds are ripped from old funk/soul records which is awesome) and verses are flawless and raw. that artic monkeys album is great, i bought it because i liked the album cover (why, i don't know) and have been playing it ever since. 2 albums from beatles because all the songs on the 2 are pretty much all my favorite beatles songs and it was pretty fucking hard choosing between the two. 2 for sonic youth because those albums are pretty goddamn rad.

definitely buy/download Champion Sound, that album is awesome if you're a big turntablist/funk sample/instrumental guy. it comes with the original songs and the instrumentals on a separate disc.

some random shit on here, some i've never heard. cool new music to try.

    6.4

Its all rap, some good albums there but Kanye sucks.

  • 1. Anthem for the Could've Bin Pills - K.C. Accidental

That is top, the rest are in no order:

    Haha Sound - Broadcast
In an Expression of the Inexpressible - Blonde Redhead
Lesser Matters - The Radio Dept.
Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain - Pavement
Winter Hymn Country Hymn Secret Hymn - Do Make Say Think
We Brave Bee Stings and All - Thao with the Get Down Stay Down
Beauty and the Beat - Edan
    Symbol - Susumu Yokota
Yesterday Was Dramatic - Today is Okay - Múm

Wow that was hard. Honorable mentions to Broken Social Scene cause I couldn't pick an album and Shugo Tokumaru's Night Piece because I haven't had enough time with it to know if it is one of top 10 ever. And to Mahogany. And Aposlte of Hustle. And a bunch more, ugh, it is too hard to pick!

  • Replace the Blonde Redhead album with Broken Social Scene's You Forgot it in People.

  • 7.4

    8.5

A couple great records, a few great artists and generally good artists. bonus for TMV and Bon Iver. Takk is Sigur Ros worst album. MPP is a pile of shit and no one should like that record also ACs worst album. Interesting, seemingly random pick with Alopecia, I quite enjoyed that record too. Grace probably would've made my top ten if it didn't have so many covers.

But all in all pretty good. well rounded enough that's for sure, looks a lot like something i woulda said a few years ago. Yet we are talking All time here not just the last 10-15 years ya know.

A lot of post rock love in this thread.

deas vail (are you f***ing kidding?)

its a G** da** miracle you have Illinois, Turn on the Bright Lights, Ok Computer and Yankee Foxtrot. You almost got a negative score.

Its like you looked up the quintessential indie rock albums and hide them in there with yr pseudo-creative no talent posers that make 16 yr old girls think they are hip or try and act like being Christian is cool b/c DUDE they can rock just as HARD. Now give yr life to Christ and all of your money so we can buy a bigger church.

I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.
