:). This is the most pop I've heard The Killers (even though Hot Fuss and Sam's Town showed glimpses) and I think harks back to Brandon's past as part of a synthpop group before he joined The Killers. It's a great album though I love all the albums anyway, but Day & Age for me got me engrossed in to The Killers. It's lush, melodic and rhytmic with some great lyricism! It's more Pet Shop Boys & New Order than The Boss and U2 IMO but tbh that's exactly my preference :D. Also love how Brandon and Dave are on the "Pet Shop Boys side" of the band as they said in an interview last year :D, it's nice to see PSB get some credit from contemporary artists! Love The Killers and this album :D, best artists of the decade IMO along with Keane, Coldplay, Muse and The Editors! :D.
