Why we like/dislike Think Tank

WEll.

I bought this album two days ago, and I don't think it's bad. It is good, but with some going-nowhere songs(like Jets and On my way), like the Gorillaz debut. Having listened to samba and brazilian music all my life, I find the African influences great.

I think these are the best songs:
Brothers and sisters
- cool guitar and bass playinh, sooting vocals and hm interesting lyrics.

Moroccan peoples Revolutionary
- groovy bassline and guitar plinging, and places my thoughts on the song Ponta De Lanca of Jorge Ben, which you should check out

Caravan
- love the saxophone/harmonica duet

Gene by Gene
- so ..funky wierd..bicycle

We've got a file on you
- the middle sounds like Arctic monkeys, and I like Blur's noisy songs (Globe alone, BLUREMI)

Good song
- neat little tune. with falsetto in the end..

I think I like Battery in your leg as well. It's so strange, and melancolic.

And Me, white noise, too. I'm still trying to figure what Daniel's saying. He's saying a lot of strange things, and I can't find the proper lyrics.
Does any other but me hear he's saying this after the first chorus:

I'm kind of bum..
So I feel, when the other Graham trying to get another brainchild, he hasn't got another brainchild - ....shoot ...Albarn

What are your opinions?

...does go nowhere, but it's such a great go-nowhere! I think Think Tank is one of the best albums ever made... infinitely re-listenable, like Sea Change by Beck... when's Blur's next album coming out? Or do we get more Gorillaz first?

I hope it's coming out before the Gorillaz tour in 2008. Because after that tour, there may be more Gorillaz.

I love Think Tank, and I love Jets too. It's simply a masterpiece, one of my favourite albums.

Think Thank is good, yeah. I especially like Out of time <3 But I like 'Blur' the most. It's one of the best albums I've ever heard.

i adore think tank. but i am not allowed (by order of myself) to listen to it outside of the house because it lullabys me and i fall asleep in public (missing train stops, walking out in the street without looking, flunking standardized tests, etc). this is exactly why its perfect. one of the few albums that can control my mood through every song.

I love Think Tank, it is wonerful! It's quite different than previous Blur's work but different doesn't mean wrong ;)
I love Jets, Gene By Gene & Moroccan Peoples Revolutionary Bowls Club & everything :P
