Basically, you love last.fm. And yet, something inside you can't help asking, didn't we miss a turn back there? Maybe we should be going left?

You love last.fm. It’s ability to introduce you to music is quite amazing. But every now and again you notice a change that you can’t figure out. Like why is the shout box on the bottom of the page? Does the player really have to be on almost every page? Couldn't we select to have the player present or not present when surfing? And why oh why can’t they bring back some way to change tags en masse?

Remember the old days when the charts wouldn't update. It was silly to go to the forums and complain. I mean obviously they were working on the problem as quickly as they could. And yet, I always wanted to complain.

    guess we're shoutin' in the shouty boxes, eh? I still want to love Last.fm, but they're makin' it hard. I get so damn frustrated every time I come back to visit this site again - the most recent annoyance? I hate the in-page player to begin with. It's crappy, buggy bloat is on every fricken page now - but the part thats made my teeth hurt is when you BAN a track, it immediately dumps the cache, buffers and starts playing the track again from the beginning - wtf part of BAN don't you understand? you little wannabe player. Yeah, really sad part is that you can tell that's where they're heading (trying anyway) - do away completely with the stand-alone and have it all on-site, in-page... :-(
