  Are the track counts average listens/person? There is no way that no artist got more than 5 total listens.

  I never said illegal was a bad thing :P Maybe you might want to link to an album's last.fm page on musicpost so that people can listen to it here as well as get more information. The bring attention to whoever part is still the primary goal, and if you think LJ is the best way to do that, more power to you.

  Isn't it simpler to do that with last.fm's recommendation feature? Then you don't have to upload the music, those interested can just play it directly (and legally).

  it's supposed to be more of something you keep up with on a regular basis. Any link over a month old has likely expired, anyway. Not for downloading (we've all got P2P services) but to recommend new stuff that others normally wouldn't run into.
