Description:
,,Three times what thou givest, returns to thee!``
For Wiccans and people seeking for a spiritual shelter.

Many people who believe in Wicca and witchcraft have also something to do with their inner power, awareness of their body and importance of Nature. A thing that matters as well is atmosphere. What's all about magic and good climate? Fantasy. Fantasy books, films and fantasy-inspired music. It's definitely worth trying. Combining some medieval elements - it creates something totally unique. Are you interested? Try Medieval Fantasy group.

"Hello! Although I am here, I'm not wiccan. In fact, I'm catholic, but I see wicca as one of the most wise and beautiful religions out there. I really apreciate wicca's way of life, and I would love to stay here and learn more about your faith. Nice to meet you all! =)" Same here. I was christened Catholic, but consider myself open-minded and curious in terms of religion and have always felt great respect and interest for Wicca. Hope I can learn something here. Currently I'm learning a little bit on the topic and with the years who knows... Anyway, blessed be everybody! :)

Blessed be, everyone. I'm glad there is such a group and I hope to benefit from the discussions here. I don't know if I'm a Wiccan, i.e. I don't practice anymore, I used to but then I suffered from major depression, am still recovering, and now rather tend to concentrate on finding again my inner self, my needs, and finally learn how to follow my path of happiness. It's wonderful to rediscover small things that make you smile or dance, like music.. or talking to people.. Actually, I never really knew how to talk to people and hope to make some progress soon :)

There are many theories about pentagrams and pentacles. In XIX century Eliphas Levi, a priest, divided them into two symbols. Ordinary (or `white`) pentagram is connected with elements or with a human and his limbs + his head. When it's drawn as a pentacle - the ring symbolizes a shelter or a barrier. Reversed one (`black pentagram`) was taken by LaVey and connected with Baphomet. Now most people think that's only a symbol of Satanism or demonology.

One thing I wonder - please answer in shoutbox. Why would you ever turn a pentagram facing up? Mean - since the pentagram is basicly channeling energy from the above into the person/earth so why would you then reverse that effect? Meaning - channeling power from the earth/person into heaven/space - for what reason?

"This has nothing to do with independence." Of course it really does. The best example is, what a paradox, your own description. There are no stiff and schematic rules, that's true. But when you can do whatever you want obeying just one simple rule... isn't it freedom, isn't it independence? What's more, this `rule` is not like a martyred burden. That's a simple, natural law. @ T0m_Me - guess why Wicca is called as it is. -_- Word `wicca` comes from witchcraft. And it's not about magical `artefacts` or items. It's all about you. If you think that taking part in ritual/coven meeting is something that you really need - do it and be happy, unless it hurts the others. But it's not necessary. How to fulfil yourself it's your business.

Wiccans believe in magical tools and artifacts and stuff? Like sorcery and witchcraft?

"I'm glad you joined us. To be honest - even I do not call myself a `true` or `full` Wiccan. In Wicca I loved freedom and independence but that's not all what this religion offers." This has nothing to do with independence. You have to keep yourself on to 25 rules. The wicca has only one unwritten rule: Do what you want, as long as it is honorably. No furthers rules apply, unless you believe it to be. Same goes for karma, people tend to believe it to be a magical reward system. Which of course, is a free choice. However, I think it is just as logic as 1 + 1 = 2. If you help the world, you help yourself. If you smile at people, you are almost guaranteed to get a smile back. Heil Wodan, and blessed be.

Everyone is welcome. You know, Wicca is the cult of your freedom. The most important thing is to understand yourself. Your moods and inner needs. Just so as to be happy and concentrate on the self-development. May thou find the right way.

Hope I'm not unwelcome here--strictly I'm not Wiccan, but I am pagan and I'm trying to find the right path. (: Blessed be!
