Great group! I used to tag my Japanese music plays romanized, but for around year I've decided to use Kanji and this looks much better and aesthetic. I've already cleaned romaji from my Dir En grey plays but there is still Sex Machineguns and Maximum the Hormone in process. And I have 150+ plays so, whew, that gonna be a hard work.

i just had an idea, how about we make the artist connections to mistagged artists instead, and remove the connection when the redirection is successful, that way, it'd be easier to catch the attention of the last population

Why don't you just put what you see on the CD? =_= If you're going to scrobble to Last.FM you should use the kanji. Just learn how to read recognize by sight if you can't read kanji. >_>

@MrRobotics it's not that official sites always have such infos... especially for repackage albums! if it's for Japanese music I just use jame-world.com site coz it's convenient but for example korean band Super Junior just released repackage album and you'll find new track's names on their site but you won't know how to name the album... it drives me crazy, I'm obsessed with proper tagging since I joined last fm... :)

v I have the same problem and apparently, there's no way to solve it... I searched for information on the Internet but couldn't find anything. Yeah, it's kind of annoying ._:

Does anybody here know how to get a Symbian phone (specifically, a Nokia 5230) to display kanji tags correctly? It's kind of annoying trying to find the right tracks when all I see is squares... :(

You know what I do? I go to the FREAKIN OFFICIAL SITE of the artists. And if I can't copy from the official site, I go to Amazon to check if they are the same or not.

Of course they're the correct fucking tags. Think of it this way - if a band's name is in French/German/Spanish/Russian/whatever do you TRANSLATE it to your language and scrobble that way? Because that's exactly what romaji tags are. That's like someone translating "The Beatles" to his language and claiming this is the correct way to scrobble. No, it's NOT.
