  I couldn't agree more with you, limbonic-art666! I recently had a haircut and this current version of myself is not my favorite. Long hair is powerful. Though growing it being a girl is not as stressful as for you, boys, because of society frowning upon you. Most of you are determined. And that's one of the reasons why I love long-haired men ;)

  Real stength and appreciation of yourself comes from within. I have never been able to 'fit-in" with any social group, as I tend to be a fusion of many interests. I can't fit in with metalheads because I don't drink or smoke, and geeks don't like me because I'm not nerdy enough. And other groups with "normal people" just don't have anything in common with me. I am too wierd for the metalheads and geeks, and become my own group. With my best friend we share geeky interests but not music lol. Anyways back to the hair-I encourage growing it if it helps you like yourself more. There is nothing bad about growing your hair as a male. I rather have a crappy job, but keep my air rather than be rich with short hair, yet unhappy in the inside.

  My favorite group. Long hair gave me confidence. Seriously, I thought I was the ugliest human being when I had short hair, but now I love how I look. I may not have the longest (or the most taken care of) hair, but I try. My hair has been between the length of half my back to shoulder length and everything in between for the past 3 or 4 years, and I intend to keep it that way for more to come. Im not sure if this has been the case with anyone else here, but confidence is all about self-confidence, something I will always appreciate from long hair.
