    Are your artists' countries exponential?

Find out whether your artists' countries are exponential by using xhochy's script:

(If the link is down, you can still get a graph by changing the username in the URL of the image:

edit: or use this tool -

The script relies on artists being tagged with country info: american, british, french etc. so it's not 100% accurate.

As you can see, mine are very exponential at the moment. Post yours!

  • The "Unknown" tag cracks me up.

You have the power to create.
Your power is so strong that whatever you believe comes true.

I had to tag a lot of artists to get my unknown bar down so small! I'm still tagging to get it even smaller. The chart updates weekly.

  • Woo! I don't even know what artists I have from France or Japan... But I know that Architecture in Helsinki is my only Australian band. I guess I only really listen to American stuff, oh well.

Well, after some time there will be more UK and a dash of USA.

The difference between the three most heards is very small - FR 27%, JP 24% and SE 20%. But, yes, I hear them much more than the others. I think I'll go on tagging the unknown, so that I have more accurate results, as well.

  • They say that this country is free, and they say that this country is equal, but it is not equal if it’s sometimes - Lady GaGa (Gay Rights Rally, 11.Oct.2009)

  • Omg hahaha definitely exponential.

  • Slightly more exponential than I expected, though it does make sense: my 1st artist is Brit, 2nd - Yankee, 3rd - Aussie... then a bunch of Brits again before any other countries get a chance (they do but much later... classic rock LOL)

    wont update mine :(

  • Oh god :S

  • -. P a a a m x .-

  • Japan'll be smaller, Germany'll grow up again xD my love to german music survived short fascination xD

  • Mine actually isn't really exponential. Most bands I like do seem to come from UK tho.

  • The artists I tagged weeks ago are still showing up as Unknown :(

The script is a bit temperamental sometimes, and the author started making a new version of it. I just tagged some of your artists as well, maybe it'll help. Then again, some of the artists showing unknown for me at the moment are well-known ones, even Regurgitator, whose top tag is 'australian'...

Yes indeed, unknown is annoying in this case.

They don't trust us, why should we trust them, then?

That's roughly 94% from the UK. Just wow. XD
