I Hate Moths

What a pointless bug. Why must it insist on existing? I HATE MOTHS. As I write this my room is full of bugs. Well, maybe not FULL, but at least half-full. I'm literally swimming in a pool of moths right now, and i'm not very happy about it.

Since the simply retarded tenants that lived in our house before us decided to repair a broken screen in my room with a piece of cardboard and a stapler, my room has been under attack. There is a nice fat hole in the screen about the size of an apple, and when I leave my window open in a desprate attempt to get fresh air, my room fills up in minutes. They want my light. You can't handle the light, my ugly little bugs. Sitting there bouncing off the ceiling fan for hours and hours on end, the odd time flying low enough to hit me in the head just to remind me that they'll never go away. There must be a law against that somewhere... Tresspassing? No?

Mosquito's suck as well (in more ways than one), but I can see their use in our twisted ecosystem. When a mosquito is bugging you, you kill it. Squash, game over. Right then and there, you ruin his shit. All your brains are belong to my arm. But with a moth, you squish it and you get a mess. You want to end his days, and you'll need a mop and bucket. There is no easy way out of this one, but a popular escape from the pain would be to snag him by his poor wings and toss him out the front door. Sure, it works, but you just got up and walked through your house just for a bug. Don't you feel like a tool?

I really have to build my moth and mosquito killing machine. I had the greatest idea in the entire world, and I wrote it down on a piece of paper so I wouldn't forget every tiny detail. A week later it's on the shelf at RadioShack. I blame the hurricanes. My device will take over the world (or at least make whoever does take over the world a little less aggrivated by moths). I would go through the painful process of describing exactly how it works (my version is much better than RadioShacks), but i'm painfully lazy.

What is the purpose of a moth? A mosquito can be quickly gobbled up by a dragonfly or a frog, but what the hell wants to eat a moth? You'd have to be out of your mind to eat that dusty little ass fly. One possible purpose would be to entertain a cat, and in turn entertain ourselves. A cat can have hours staring at and chasing down moths, but i'm sure he could have just as much fun with a no-mess laser pointer. Good times. Cats are so easily amused.

Well, I see at least some people agree with me. I'm very tempted to buy a shirt from that 'moths suck' guy, I would like to share my hatred of moths with the world just a little bit more. If you do a quick Google search, you see that i'm really not alone. This is a hated on a national level. Maybe global warming is my only answer... I should go outside right now and release hairspray, just to melt away at the ozone (just a little). Do they carry hairspray with added CFCs? That'll really feel like 'sticking it to the man,' except more like 'sticking it to the earth.' In the end I think it might be worth it. Global warming has, apparently, cause major climate changes all over the world, causing flooding, hurricanes, and other unmentionable treats, but maybe one day i'll get my wish: no more moths. Make them stop. If I create my moth trap on a wide scale... Hmm...

    Moths are pointless; they say know your fear so i'm trying. Trying to rationalize their existence and I cannot. They are pesky, hairy, ugly creatures, and they're just freaky!

    I read that DDT is excellent for indoor use. Effects on sea birds might be explained by heavy metals and fishermen.
