    Thanks for getting in touch. I suppose that I'm at the other end of the spectrum; I grew up listening to vinyl records but play CDs and mp3s for a lot of the time for convenience. I've got quite a lot of music that is duplicated in all formats which makes space on my house rather difficult to find!     Although I belong to the generation of CDs and digital music I started to listen and buy 7 vinyl singles. Of course, I like 'digital' music, but I don't want to miss the benefits of 'analogue' music. So, I'm not representing the typical youth image concerning listening habits ;-).

    Thanks for your comments and advice; I'll do as you suggest as soon as I've worked out how to create a forum :-) This is just an idea at the moment (hopefully one that I can take forward for the PhD) and I thought here would be a good place to start.
