I'm loving Vagalume on Arch Linux; it works perfectly. Does anyone know if there's a way to get the information that's currently sent to the notification daemon (title, artist, album) to conky? I've looked at vagalumectl, but it doesn't return those things. Or is there a temporary "nowplaying" file a la shell-fm? If not, maybe I could just add it myself.

Jovensky Hi I have a question. I installed vagalume on my N900 but its not letting me play songs or anything. when i click play it says network connection error. Do I need to import server files to scrobble? What is import server files and how do I do that if I need to?

BludHund Hmm...Vagalume working fine on my N810 running Maemo (OS2008) until yesterday. Now its just gets a 'network connection error' each time, or says something about the 'url not existing or being available only to Last.fm subscribers'. In fact, I don't even seem to be able to connect to Last.fm from the OS2008 default browser (youtube, other sites working fine though) or Fennec. Grrr.

Still working fine on my N810 and Ubuntu 9.04.

Fox14 The same thing for me. Vagalume just constantly scrolls titles without playing anything, while Amarok works fine still.

Was Vagalume banned by last.fm? I remember there was talk of limiting the Last.fm API to certain applications. Vagalume just stopped working for me (Ubuntu) a couple of weeks ago. Website works fine however.

Vagalume 0.7.1 is out, and seems to work fine again

MiYYo Me as well. But I'm not able to hear a single song. Vagalume tries to load a song stops and loads the next one, for about 2-4 songs and then terminates with the message 'connection error'. First occurence of that kind was yesterday and still persists today. Never the less - I love vagalume!

dragonfly1113 My last.fm was working perfectly now it just keep coming up with "connection error" does anyone else get this or know how to fix this? its really annoying i may get to hear one song than that message comes up and im about ready to slam my nokia tablet into pieces, i need my last.fm haha.

ashleyhindmarsh, non subscribers cannot listen to some radios. That's a restriction by Last.fm and it's probably the reason why you are getting invalid URL errors. I guess that some menu options should be disabled for non subscribers.
