  Ich bin durch durch VNV Nation zum Liebhaber der elektronischen Musik geworden. Nun heulen viele den alten Zeiten hinterher und meinen, dass die beiden früher härter klangen. Mag sein, dafür klingen sie heute um so melodischer. Ich jedenfalls liebe den Sound von VNV Nation, die eingängigen Melodien und natürlich die Fülle und Breite der Klänge die einen Klangteppich weben und jeden einhüllen, der sich diesem hingibt. Wie auch immer, "Automatic" klingt wie aus einem Guss, gute Texte, eingängiger Sound.

  I'm looking forward to the new album despite VNV steadily treading into a bit of a more contemporary sound. "Of Faith, Power and Glory" was pretty inconsistent so hopefully they don't end up finally shooting a blank.

  I thought the new album was better than both Matter + Form and Judgment. It is kind of different so I could see how it could alienate some VNV Nation fans, but it's not so different that it doesn't sound like VNV - it still does and I thought it was pretty good.

  hmmm, might be true if you are listening to them longer .... ofpag (and the concert i visited) is the reason why i started listening to them but i will look into the old albums and make my own decision ...

  Good question, I have no idea who mixed it, I assume it was either VNV or Assemblage 23. All it is is Epicentre from VNV Nation mixed with Disapointed from Assemblage 23... or so I'm told ;)

  Just checked the site, the "Reformation" box set sounds a bit of a gimic, but hey, I'll probably get it anyway. If I said I was looking forward to "Of Faith, Power and Glory" though, it'd be an understatement! Can't wait until that comes out ^.^
