    Fantômas - Delirium Cordia (74:13) [2]

  • Rudolf Serkin’s famous analog recording of Beethoven’s Diabelli Variations has been digitized as a single track, 51 minutes long. More recent CD recordings have up to 34 separate gapless tracks of varying lengths.

I have an audiobook track that approaches two hours in length. Its part 1 of Atala by Chateaubriand.

    Felis sylvestris

I would say Vomir - Proanomie, not an easy 76 minutes ride but a good one

  • Probably the Burial Breezeblock set at just over 2 hours long, but I can imagine other radio sets being longer!

  • not long compared to you guys.
26 minutes. it was necrite's Sic Transit Gloria Mundi. and it was about 2 hours back that I heard it :p

the longest single track was Dopesmoker i think. maybe one of merzbow's incredibly long ones.

and i saw on the bull of heaven website that they've recorded a track that was 6 or 7 YEARS long. (50000 HOURS!!!) It's called "Like a Wall in Which an Insect Lives and Gnaws". listening to it now. very strange and minimalist. probably not going to listen to the whole thing though.

  • Part I and Part III of Robert Rich 'Somnium'. Both around 140 minutes.

    If Jupiter and Saturn meet,
What a cop of mummy wheat!
The sword's a cross; thereon He died:
On breast of Mars the goddess sighed.

"What's Your Name?" by The Acid Mother's Temple & Melting Paraiso U.F.O. at 70:46

  • Probably "Absolutego" by Boris, at 1:05:35

  • BBart9 escribió:
Light of day, day of darkness - Green Carnation
    Amarok - Mike Oldfield

    Both last an hour.

This. Also, Crimson, by Edge of Sanity.
I think the Flower Kings did another pretty long song too.

    btw
To save others having to do a search you can get the preview button & link by copying the artist & track name and adding some text and square brackets

    e.g.
Devil Doll - The Sacrilege of Fatal Arms
    Devil Doll(track artist=Devil Doll)The Sacrilege of Fatal Arms(/track)
    (but with square brackets)becomes

  • At the moment, these are the longest I can think of, but there are probably others.

    Fantômas - Delìrium Còrdia
    Corrupted - El mundo
    Corrupted - El mundo frio
    Merzbow - Akasha Gulva
    Sleep - Dopesmoker
    Boris - Absolutego
Dirge - Wings of Lead Over Dormant Seas

I've had Robert Rich's Somnium ready to listen to for a long time but still don't have the time.

William Basinski's Desintegration Loop I is about 1:10 hours. But it's certainly not the longest I've ever listened to, just don't remember the others :)
