  true listeners think they're so much cooler. It's not like I make a point of leaving my music on at all times or that I fake listen or whatever, I just don't care to turn off my music or pause it if I'm gonna go take a crap or get the mail.

  Meh, I just like my charts to represent what I've actually been listening to. Not what has been playing while I've gone to the shops or whatever. In fact, when I fall asleep while listening to music, the next day I'll go back and listen to what I missed while I was sleeping to make sure the play count on my iTunes is true to what I actually listened to. I think it's safe to say I'm too much of a perfectionist with my iTunes/Last.fm to join this group.

But it doesn't make me any less of a listener, or lover of music because I do that. If anything, quite the contrary. I NEED to have music in the background. Whatever I'm doing.
