    Head-On... I don't think they are signed.
    www.head-on.co.uk
They released XXL themselves a while back, but they might have got a record deal, dunno… They’ve just recorded some new demos anyway, which are pretty cool.

  • The Milestone Corporation

Carrying on the traditions of swedish pop-rock music, the group
The Milestone Corporation based in Gothenburg,
Sweden, released their second EP in February 2006.

The two main sources of inspiration are the rock'n'roll legends of the
70's together with the brit-pop wave of the 90's. This blends into a
sound which is quickly gaining attention and appreciation within the
    local scene.

You can listen to this EP, Big
    Night Out
here on last.fm. You can also visit the official
    homepage, http://www.themilestonecorporation.com, and
    download the EP in mp3-format.

Member of the band Kate and After.

What’s the thing with Gothenburg? Shit loads of top class Metal… And I read some where that loads of Euro-Hip-Hop comes from there. Is it like the best place in Sweden for musicians and bands?

Anyway, Axis of Evil… Voted… Well a lot of things, but most recently to my knowledge Best Unsigned band in Europe by those fantastic people who read Terrorizer.

  • Well, all I can say about Gothenburg is that the city is definitely a candidate for the worst weather in europe, with rain, slush and cold winds. This creates angst in people and angst is battled by writing music or creating any other form of art :)

Look at certain cities in great brittain and the massive amount of terrific bands from there. Then look at the weather in these cities. And as a final note, sit down and list all really successful and good bands you can think of that come from sunny california compared to rainy european cities over the past 30 years...

Platane, an unsigned local band from Kleve, Germany

Ich glaube an das, was Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, das Mungo, gesagt hat, als es unter Einsatz seines Lebens die Schlange tötete: "Eine gute Tat wird meist belohnt."
