What/who inspired you to be a musician?

Les Claypool. I was 13 when I first heard Sailing the Seas of Cheese. The originality of that album along with Claypool's bass playing inspired me to get my first bass. I never looked back. Alice in Chains was my inspiration to start writing music. I love the vocal harmonies and the darkness of the music.

  • Metallica. Ha! I would have never picked up a guitar if it wasn't for them. I pretty much hate everything they've made since load, but damn was that old shit goooood! I'm not gonna lie, I saw them in concert and cried a little. I wanted to play guitar like that so damn bad that I asked my parents for a guitar for 3 years straight. I finally got one in 8th grade, and have been playing since. My musical takes have grown ten fold since then, but they still have a special place in my heart.
