    Best/Favorite Albums of All Time

What's goin' on people. I am looking to expand my collection of hip-hop albums. Feel free to post your favorite albums of all time (past or present) or ones you find to be the best of the best.

    Hook it up.

    Peace.

  • Deltron 3030 - Deltron 3030

I'd say, of course there are others but this album is really perfected perfection.

  • I'm inclined to agree with Starcraft... as far as albums go Deltron 3030 is pretty unbelievably sick.

    Favorite at the moment:
    Cunninlynguists - Southern Underground

"Lyrical poetry is out for the time being, and something that is called rap or hip-hop is in. It is still poetry, and we can't live without it. We need language to tell us who we are, how we feel, what we're capable of -- to explain the pains and glory of our existence." - Maya Angelou

I'm a newbie to hip-hop, but so far a few of my personal favorites are:

    God Loves Ugly - Atmosphere
    Labor Days - Aesop Rock
    The Unseen - Quasimoto

  • If you are a newbie you should definitly check out the album i listed or the album 2simply suggested(southern underground is a ridiculously awesome album aswell).

And while you're at it, check One Be Lo - S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M out.

  • For bein' a newb, those are some pretty sick albums. You really can't go wrong with Aesop. If you like the more lyrical stuff (Aesop is just about the best frickin' poet in the business) check out Sage Francis and Latyrx. For sure check out Aesop's album "Fast Cars, Danger, Fire and Knives." Not many seem to sing its praises but I fuckin' love it.
