This is the REAL melodic death metal group on Last.fm.
I will accept you only if you listen to real melodic death metal bands (the new In Flames stuff is NOT melodeath, so get over it, kids).

RULES:

* Do not apply if you only have one or two melodic death metal bands on your top 50, while the rest of the bands have nothing to do with it.

* Do not expect to be accepted if you listen to pop "metal" crap like new In Flames, Soilwork, etc. There must be no substantial evidence of these bands' new material on your profile.

* If you listen to too much Sonic Syndicate or similar bands don't expect to be accepted in the group.

* It doesn't matter if you listen to nu-metal, metalcore, deathcore bands, as long as they are a minority of your charts.

* If you don't like the rules that are listed above then go join that shitty "Melodic Death Metal" group along with the other scene kids.

Man, the moderator of this group must have his hands full with the all the American "metal fans" - I put quotes around that term because for a country that had a lot to do with the development of metal, and especially extreme metal, you'd never know it. American "metal fans" tend to be an embarrassing bunch. Ugh.

Just anything that doesn't look like crap. Not that the one we have is that bad, you just can't even read what it says, so it might as well have been a picture of a bunch of knights, and that doesn't necessarily get the point across of melodic death metal (I'm not sure what will though =P)
