What kind of music (except gothic) are you listening to;)?

Except for gothic, gothic rock, darkwave and some music of the post-punk genre

I'm very delighted at a style of music we call Depro-Punk in Germany.

When I was aged fifteen and sixteen, I was very keen on visiting punk and

hardcore-punk gigs but there was a point, I began regarding these songs more

critically and lots of those lyrics seemed like hollow phrases to me then.

Issues should not be generalized but seen more discriminately - that was

my opinion now. And why must frontmen shout their lyrics?

Looking for a counterpart to my expectations, I found

Fliehende Stürme

- a group whose lyrics appeared both profound and touching to me.

They made me consider things from different sides and played an important role

in my personality development. I am still fond of them and will be fond of them for

ever and ever. A further representative of Depro-Punk is the band

EA80.
