This is a group for people who listen to gothic music. We also really appreciate deathrock, darkwave, post-punk and other alternative musicians so you can find such bands in our connections :)

If you're also sick of so-called "gothic" or "gothic metal" groups where the top artists are Nightwish, Tristania, Within Temptation or Evanescence (sic!) it's just the right place for you my friend ;) During times when most of the people misunderstand gothic rock term - this group is gathering everyone who adores especially early 80s and 90s bands of this genre. Maybe we don't have a few thousand members but that's our strength :>

    May 18th, 1980 IAN CURTIS ended his life, aged 23. The driving force behind Joy Division's dark vision, he hanged himself in his Macclesfield home as the band rested between a European and American tour. Iggy Pop's 'The Idiot' was found on his turntable alongside a note which read "at this very moment, I wish I were dead. I just can't cope anymore".
