MissSmack I think the boys just lack the maturity that the previous breakfast show offered. It wasn't just the music knowledge, but life experience. Nothing personal, lads but I feel as though you'd be better suited to Fresh FM, or more doof doof where they say 'gold' or ' Awesome' alot.

So the ratio might be a few sandwiches short of a picnic, but from that one good song I usually get a few good albums, which is enough songs to get me through the dry, arid times... so it's all good!! Plus I like Dr. Karl and Hack... makes me think... makes me wonder... makes me argumentative and angry. Honestly though, I liked Triple j when it was ALL about the music. Ya'll mean!?

foodandliquor there is still some good community radio stations about. triple J was originally a community radio called double J. Brisbane has 4ZZZ (102.1fm), Sydney has FBI, Melbourne has 3RRR, Byron Bay has a good one called Bay FM (99.9fm)..I don't know the rest..but definitely worth checking out if your getting sick of triple J..

Triple j is getting a little more unbearable with each passing day, but it is still the only radio station I can actually listen to in the car without having to steer violently to the left suddenly causing the car the wrap around a tree in the hope that the radio will catch on fire and thus relieving me of much pain delivered to my ears through horrid noise that seep from the speakers. Should the burning radio fail to cease playing, I count down from thirty knowing that within such time I should lose sufficient litres of blood to pass out. If all else fails, I turn the radio off. But I get most of my music from Triple j because every now and again, they deliver!!

La Roux isn't commercial (at least here), listen to a true commercial station, like B105 or whatever it's called in other states and you'll realise how ridiculous that statement is.

alexjvaughan I think triple j is good, however i feel that there shouldn't be this kinda elitist feeling that goes with listening to it...you know the one, i listened to triple j when i was at school and everyone else listened to commercial radio. that is a silly attitude. just enjoy it.
