Description:
Transatlantic, the progressive superband of the 90's and reliving unexpectedly in 2009...

Fox

Four member from four great progressive band. More than an experimentation they've become one of the great band of progressive music.

Drum : Mike Portnoy
from Dream Theater

Keyboard : Neal Morse
from Spock's Beard

Bass Guitar : Pete Trewavas
from Marillion

Guitar : Roine Stolt
from The Flower Kings

With 2 albums, they've created music like in the old days, Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis have done.

Their last album, the Whirlwind (2009), they manage to produce a fantastic epic of 77 minutes. Truly amazing, it is a great piece of progressive rock.

One of the greatest bands ever. Maybe you could also put solo Neal Morse and Roine Stolt in the "Connected Artists" section, but I suppose what you have covers it.

Aah good old Transatlantic. I discovered them when I was randomly obtaining Mike Portnoy DVDs, and I got the one where he drums through Bridge Across Forever. Loved it so much I went and bought the album, never looked back, awesome band. Closest I've come to the brilliance of that album is the Spock's Beard album The Kindness of Strangers.
