Why thank you! My favourite WY bands at the moment are That Fucking Tank, Chickenhawk, These Monsters, iLiKETRAINS and Vessels!

    Edit
: Oh and David Thomas Broughton, he was was quite something to watch in support to Shearwater last week!

Alt Track are great too... Vote them to play at Glastonbury here!

  • Delighted to welcome justboy1984 as today's latest member. Thanks John, it 's good to have your quality lists and gigs attached to our little wagon.

  • And a big welcome also to razzthekiddd who has signed his excellent pedigree into the group. This is all good.

  • Barnsley's Bomfest has joined up to the group. This is excellent news. Many thanks and welcome. Please keep us popsted on all things Barnsley.

  • I have been sulking about last.fm's changes this month. So I have neglected the new arrival welcomes - very churlish of me.Shame on me for being so uncivilised. I hope that AntonyArcuri250, king__tubby, 1chris90 and Striptixband will forgive me. But they are all very welcome to the group of course. All are lovely people with impeccable taste.

  • Thanks to Kingpot for signing up. Have a good listen to his band The Sailmakers - some interesting stuff there. Free to download. Good to see.

  • A big welcome today for Cat, aka cynhaeaf who has been playing some top quality tracks just lately. Thanks for joining!

  • Well, our group now has as many members as there are days in a Leap Year. Thanks to t3hpez for joining us. You are very welcome.

  • Things have slipped back a little - so its extra nice to have a new person signing into the group. Hello and welcome to clairecameron. With luck this will create a little flurry of new members and messages.

  • Cheerio

Cheerio all 381 memebrs of the group. My subscription to last.fm is due for renewal soon, and I am definitely not renewing it. So I suppose the group will gradually fade away, rather like the orignal purposes of last.fm There were no takers for the role of group leader last year when I raised this. So I guess that's it.

There are plenty of other exciting things to be doing in the world of music, so I would be cross if anyone had even a moment of regret about this. Be happy that it isn't as apalling as Facebook or Myspace.

    Bye!
