Thomas Erak (born March 7, 1985) is the lead guitarist and lead vocalist from Mukilteo, Washington based prog-rock/post-hardcore band The Fall of Troy. Thomas is currently endorsed by Gibson USA & Orange Amplification. He used to provide vocals for the now defunct Seattle hardcore band, The Hills Have Eyes. His father played as a session musician with The Eagles, playing the Bass guitar, and touring with his side project. As well as this, many of his family members were musicians. As a guitarist, he claims to be influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page and Billy Corgan. As a writer, he claims Kurt Cobain is his biggest influence. He has been playing the drums since he was 2 years old, and has been playing the guitar since 2000. Thomas Erak was also picked by the editors of Alternative Press magazine as the Guitarist of the Year for 2007.

    anyone heard bout....the rumor: Thomas Erak + Thomas Pridgen??......I certainly would like tht to happen but I'm not thinking to much about it don't wanna fall in to false expectations.People say thomas pridgen was asked about it on his fcbk fan page,replied and didn't say no....

    i hav found some guitarrists......and for the record.........i'm not saying they have the same style, i'm just saying they get slightly close to thomas'. -drew from I am Alaska - Luciano from Mutiny on The Bounty -Teramelos -Fake Shark - Real Zombie! - and the guitarrist from Sophiris gets really really close -Hot Cross - Vie Perdu - Phanthom - Clousure in Moscow - Adebisi Shank guys for sure. -A Rifle Suprise - Forever & Always - The Sound Of Silence which they renamed it to , Oh No, It Birds! - The Samuel Jackson Five...and many more.... but if tht's no good.... just use last.fm's similar Artists list...way easier
