Square Enix is suffering from loss due to the suckiness of Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIV, and they bumped Deus Ex: Human Revolution's release date several months, which means that it's highly possible Thief 4 is suffering a set back because of it all as well. I've been waiting for it since it was announced in '09! Guess I'll just have to play through The Dark Project and The Metal Age on expert again to hold me over ;D

One of Eidos reps said that they want to appeal to a broader audience. I hate to sound like a dusty old fanboy, but it sounds like they're going to make some changes to the original game mechanic which will swing it towards a more action-oriented gameplay. I could be wrong. It's still a definite day one purchase for me! Keep on taffing.
