What is your favourite Rush DVD?

Seriously, I want to know because I only have the Rush In Rio DVD and I was disappointed by a lot of the camera angles and what I consider to be excess crowd noise. No disrespect to the band, they clearly played a great set list expertly as you'd expect. However, I want to know if there's a better option available.

  • i think the best rush dvd is the grace under pressure dvd

The Sword Wields No Strenght Unless The Hand That Holds It Has Courage
  • The R30-DVD is great.

  • RUSH- R30. It has a great a song list, light show & sound. Yea, ive played the crap out of it !!!

@Grant RS - Don't discount crowd noise on Rush in RIO, Check YYZ for the amazing audience participation on a lyric free track....

  • I have all the live DVD's. Rush in Rio is my Bible. R30 i awesome, undoubtedly, but Rio is such a great chronology of their history, and it's good to see the crowd loving the music so much! After that however, it does have to be Grace Under Pressure... shame i broke the DVD -_-

  • I have Rush In Rio and Replay X3 and i've seen R30. My favourite is maybe Grace Under Pressure or Rio. I can't decide.

  • RUSH IN RIO!!!!!!all three are dead on in that DVD

    DVD's

Honestly, I fucking LOVE Snakes and Arrows Live!! Exit Stage Right's awesome too! I just wish they'd include the live version of The Camera Eye in it and they really need to play Hemispheres live and put it on DVD (or drag something out of the vault of a decent quality version from the 70's). Can't go wrong with Rio either.

    \nn/
  • My favorite is Rush in Rio. Unlike some other people i enjoy boisterous crowd, it helps to give off the feel of being there.

  • I love the new Snakes and Arrows DVD, and the Exit Stage Left witch I still have in VHS! I wish it had a drum solo on it though.

  • Snakes and Arrows DVD <3

  • i haven't seen the snakes and arrows DVD, saw the tour so if the DVD's anything like that it should be fantastic!
R30 is awesome, picked it up from a music shop near me for £3!!! bargin!
the DVD has loads of bonus stuff as well, not just the concert (even comes with the concery live on 2 CDs.) Well recommended.

  • Definitely Rush In Rio, the setlist is just so good. And I love O Baterista, I've watched it for like 300 times :DDD
