  Quite possibly my favourite band of all time. My dad has been a fan since the early days, he got kicked out of uni for following them on tour in '79 and has henceforth introduced me to them, since 1997, I have seen them live 19 times and Hugh Cornwell 7 times. They are just the epitome of classic musicianship. I saw them in Nottingham on the 6th and they have still got it, despite all being 60+. My only qualm is being born too late to see them in their prime.

  The Stranglers are playing at the Skinny Twins festival on June 11th 2011 in Sunderland, the Futureheads plus a few other bands are playing as well.

  I am going to see them in Sept at Triumph live, which should be good. They are apparently going to tour in March next year, with hopefully a new cd out as well. Also a big happy birthday to Jet Black who is 72 today.

  38!! Just got the cd reissue of Nosferatu by Cornwell / Williams. I've had the vinyl for years. If you have never heard this one, get it...amazing album!
