NitsBook 1 Dennis Versteeg, the man that knows more about the Nits than the Nits, wrote a book to share his knowledge: "I have been working on a Nits book for quite some time and now it looks like it will be finished soon. I am aiming for a release in December. It will be called NITS FILE. The book is in English and more or less an encyclopedia of Nits music. It's basically a totally rewritten, restructured and vastly expanded version of my Nits Concert File website. The book has several sections: Albums (including solo and related projects), Tours, Videos and the most important one: Songs. The book includes everything the band did from the early '70s until Strawberry Wood and the recent tour.

NitsBook 2 Each album, video and tour is described with background information and facts. The Songs section is probably three quarters of the album and describes all Nits songs known to me, including unreleased songs or versions of songs. Each song's lyrics and music is described, how it was played at concerts over the years and if there are alternate version and/or a video clip, these are also described.
