  • Well the US's public education foreign language curriculum is pretty abysmal but I'm pretty sure that has nothing to do with China.

He's right though, why's China gotta be such a dick. Can't they just, like, give us the money instead of loaning it? I mean, c'mon. Dude. c'mon! c'moooon!

  • I like how the youtube comments are half innuendos and half long winded diatribes on racism

  • Arguing with Ron Paul supporters is almost as bad as arguing with other types of conservatives.

I was officially weak when I pressed play and that 16th century music chimed in. WEAK.

If you thought the "super wealthy" don't sit around in private meetings thinking about ways the "super wealthy" can control the news media, here's Lord Monckton in a private meeting with Australian mining industry insiders urging the establishment of Australian and British Fox News-style channels supported by the "super wealthy".

Andrew Bolt, by the way, is somewhere between O'Reilly and Beck. Extra background: Australia's richest citizen, a mining magnate, has just bought an interest in the Sydney Morning Herald and the Melbourne Age.

Extra extra background: The Murdoch-owned newspaper, The Australian, is already incredibly pro-mining, and essentially brought down the last Prime Minister when he tried to introducing a mining super-profits tax. As I say: tin pot democracy.

  • Those cookies don't look familiar, which is odd.

Has anyone in this group ever ran for public office or seriously thought about doing so?

I ask because I'm wondering at what point does one get so frustrated that they force themselves to try and do something from the inside out.

I find myself thinking about it more and more.

  • My friends ran for seats on the city council. They didn't get them, but they are still really politically active, particularly fighting the city machine (it's a small city) .
