  • Lord of the Ring - Return of the king
All of the movies are masterpieces, but Return of the king was actually the first movie I saw out of the three. I watched it when I was 9, and man... I was blown away. I made LOTR my religion, had all the action figures and all the games that had the LOTR theme. It is still THE movie that effects me the most, the epicness, storytelling and music makes it an insane experience. I dont think I will ever get another favourite movie ever... effected me so much, I may be the biggest LOTR fan on this planet!

  • A friend asked me once to list my ten favorite movies. So after thinking about all the movies that I have seen multiples times and what I felt when I was watching them I came with only six titles.

In no particular order these are my favorite movies:

    1.- Apocalypse Now.
    2.- The Rules Of Attraction.
    3.- Rumble Fish.
    4.- The Wrestler.

    1. Rashomon (Akira Kurosawa)

Loved the original short stories by Akutagawa it is based on, but Kurosawa made it into even more. A straight up meditation on perspective, human psyche and how we can never trust storytellers in film, literature, or anywhere. Absence of objectivity. Beautiful shots, great camera work, brilliant atmosphere.
Plus, I'm a huge fan of Mifune.

    2. Blade Runner (Ridley Scott)
    3. A Clockwork Orange (Stanley Kubrick)
    4. Reservoir Dogs (Quentin Tarantino)
    5. Der Himmel Über Berlin (Wim Wenders)
    6. Stalker (Andrei Tarkovsky)
    7. Paprika (Satoshi Kon)
    8. Mulholland Dr. (David Lynch)
    9. Hunger (Steve McQueen)
    10. Det Sjunde Inseglet (Ingmar Bergman)

  • A while ago I tried to make a top 10 of my favorite movies which was incredibly hard but here's what I came up with. In no particular order:

*The Wizard Of Oz (1939) directed by Victor Fleming

*Two For The Road (1967) directed by Stanley Donen

*It's A Wonderful Life (1946) directed by Frank Capra

*Amadeus (1984) directed by Miloš Forman

*One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1975) directed by Miloš Forman

*Into The Wild (2007) directed by Sean Penn

*La Vita è Bella (1997) directed by Roberto Benigni

*To Have And Have Not (1944) directed by Howard Hawks

*The Philadelphia Story (1940) directed by George Cukor

*Dancer In The Dark (2000) directed by Lars von Trier

I like my coffee hot and strong. Just like I like my women, hot and strong. With a SPOON in them.
