    Kostnice Ossuary (Bone church)

This is the place where Albin and Alzbeth recorded the 'Kostnice' single, the second track off of the 'Rest On Your Arms Reversed' compilation. It looks like an extremely haunting place, very morbid yet at the same time its amazing what can be done with the bones of the human body. Anyone been there? More info here:

A walk through the ossuary - Very good if short video about Sedlac.

  • Looks beautiful, albeit a bit discomforting. It's the perfect setting for the haunting "Kostnice" single. The Czech republic seems to be full of hidden treasures! Similar structures are found in France and Italy.

  • I can only imagine hearing it within that environment. Must have been a very powerful recording experience

Since TMLHBAC Alzbeth has released the 'Book of Lyrics', featuring every lyric she ever wrote and used. What she is doing these days is unfortunatly a mystery :(. Hopefully she will release music again one day.

Yes, let's all hope she will indeed. Now that Albin's latest Der Blutharsch material have taken a wrong turn somewhere, her contribution for the continuation of the genre is really needed.

I have been there. Actually those are my comments at that Russian site linked above. Not much more need to be said really... it's a one-of-a-kind kind of place, that needs to be seen to be believed.

As a matter of fact, after seeing the TMLHBAC concert in Waregem/Belgium in July -97 I headed on to Prague, and visited this ossuary on the direct recommendation of Albin and Alzbeth.

I was there past year, the place its absolutely amazing but i must say that the whole town of Kutna Hora is lovely and wonderful. If you visit Czech Republic, really, dont miss this little town, its only 1 hour from Prage by train!
