So I'm back on the show this Friday - any particular requests you think I should be playing? Local or otherwise - let me know...

No - no hassle here. Still having the same problem? Sometimes Last.FM takes a while to catch up...

This is a hopeful request, is anyone else having problems with scrobbling from an Ipod? The lasy couple of times I've plugged in, the scrobble dialogue box has come up, but then hasn't shown on my played list?

I love Dusty in Memphis. Tis brilliant, and I managed to grab a copy on lovely vinyl too, which makes it sound all the better. Incidentally, anyone else heard The Travelling Band album? Lovely stuff...

It sounds very latino doesn't it? I can only take all those synths in small doses though. Atm listening to lots of Devendra Banhart (mainly Nino Rojo), Curtis Mayfield's Live album and Dusty Springfield in Memphis for a lazy morning off lectures : )

Joe, thanks for reminding me of the Songs in the Key of Life, it's going to get a listen tomorrow. For the variation in Stevie Wondre's music take chill and listen to "I am singing"

I'm loving Don Cavalli's `Cryland` album - he's a French bluesy guy with some nice wah wah and a funky drummer. Also `All Day Sucker` from Stevie Wonder's `Songs In the Key Of Life` album is brilliant!

Just downloaded Acid Tongue by Jenny Lewis, what a brilliant voice. Another one to look out for in 2009 is Clare Maguire, Huw Stephens is really pushing her, another superb female artist worth a listen to on Myspace.
