  No, it was a valid question because instead of tracking each song/artist played over a week it monitors the members listening to them. It tracks, say, me/you/Aaron/Alex (4 scrobbled) listening to Maudlin as opposed to the actual numbers of times each of us has listened to however many songs (say, each of us listening to the entire album [24 scrobbled] ) we've listened to by them in the past week. Thanks Aaron.

  It's a list of how many members of the group played a given artist over the preceding week. Unless they changed the algorithm, but based on people's listening habits here that list seems pretty reasonable as an output of that schema.

  Question: how does this thingy above our comments determine weekly top artists? Do you, Aaron, plug in particular ones like with the affiliated artists section? Only asking becauseit makes no sense from what I know to be a quite diverse pallette of music we all listen to.
