A group dedicated to Thor Harris

Thor Harris (born February 2, 1965) is a musician, painter, and carpenter. He is currently the percussionist for the Austin band Shearwater and the drummer for the New York-based cult band Swans. He has performed with Bill Callahan, Lisa Germano, Gretchen Phillips, Devendra Banhart, Rebecca Cannon and Rob Halverson. He has recorded one solo album, entitled Fields of Innards.


He plays the following instruments: Drums, hammer dulcimer, xylophone, glockenspiel, vibraphone, clarinet and water bowls. In addition he also masters a wide varity of home made instruments.
