• Replay Gain

I've just begun using Replay Gain. I love it.

I wrote an article on my blog about it here

  • Yeah, ReplayGain is quite useful when you have a music collection with a wide range of loudness. Nice article about that.
Unfortunately, RG it doesn't bring back the quality of the loud records.

  • IMHO ReplayGain is a must have!

ReplayGain is a bless for shuffle play lovers like me with broad genre music libraries... It is great to have something like Fear Factory following Vivaldi and both having volume properly adjusted. :D

It's stored in the metadata/tags of the music file. At least Foobar can tag and replaygain .wav's as well.
