• Affiliates

We have a number of affiliates, if you can get involved (ie, you know of bands from these countries), that'd be great!

Firstly, FIRA - Our equivalent of FIFA basically.

    Leagues representing single countries

Liga Brasileira da Rock & Metal (Brazil)
    The Canadian Rock League (Canada)
Česká Rocková Liga (Czech Republic) [inactive]
The Danish Rock Artists League (Denmark)

The French Rock Artist League (France)
    Die 1. deutsche Rock-Liga (Germany)

    The Dutch Rock League (Netherlands)
The Norwegian Rock Artist League (Norway)
    Polska Liga Rockowa (Poland)
Portuguese Rock & Metal Artists League (Portugal)
Русская Лига Рока и Металла (Russia)
    The Hispanic Rock League (Spain)
The Swedish Rock Artist League (Sweden)
    Turkish Rock Artist League (Turkey)

Irish Rock League (Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland)
Ex-Yu Rock Liga (Former Yugoslavia, i.e.: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, FYR of Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia)

Other music leagues not affiliated with FIRA
    European Electronic Artists League

[inactive] tags were inserted on 19th June 2009. If this league has since become active again, please post in this thread to notify this. If a league you are interested in has become inactive and you would like to make it active again, please contact the group leader and hopefully you can get them kick started again!

If your country is not yet represented, would you consider starting a league for your country? It requires some time and effort, but this has so far been rewarding and looks like an interesting venture, so please consider it!

  • There is now an Irish league too starting up. Check this journal article.

  • What happend to the Irish league? Would be great to have an Irish league, too and I'd like to help out, if help needed.

Stop complaining about the bad taste of other people:
It's only your vote that counts now!
    Irish Rock League
    Die 1. deutsche Rock-Liga
  • No idea to be honest.

I've not heard any news from any of the other leagues apart from the German.

    Try contacting Shorty11857 about it?

  • A [url=Japanese League has been started!

A lot of our affiliates have fallen by the wayside because their leaders have not had the time to commit unfortunately. Hopefully someone can revive them?

  • I have added the link to the Portuguese Rock & Metal Artists League and the Ex-Yu Rock Liga. If there are any other active leagues that you know about that are not on this list, please post in this thread with a link to them, thanks!

  • Irish Rock League is now added.

  • A Danish League has now been started.

  • "Click here for a map of countries represented by leagues" - unusual choice of mapping style :)

  • What the fuck!

Okay, I definitely didn't intend the map to be pornographic content. No idea what happened there :S

European Electronic Artists League also is starting.
Does it count as an affiliate or it's separate from FIRA?

  • EEAL Is definitely separate from FIRA, FIRA and its associates are for rock leagues. However, it is a related venture and I am happy to list them as such
