Surrealistic Pillow is followed, on April 1, by the single, Somebody to Love, which rockets up the charts reaching #5.

The LP reaches #3, selling 1.5 million copies.

    the album was ranked number 146 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time." ???????????????????????????????????? MUCH BETTER THAN 146!!! it's the best album by jefferson,and without a doubt one of the 50 albums of ever! i have that book and i think it sucks..
