    is this even possible?

I'm going to cop out and give a handful for both:

Sufjan Stevens - Damascus, Vito's Ordination Song, and Chicago (the unreleased song off of the upcoming Illinois album)

    Favorites -
    The Weakerthans - Aside
    The Posies - Solar Sister
    Jump, Little Children - Cathedrals
Jimmy Eat World - For Me This Is Heaven and/or Goodbye, Sky Harbor
    Counting Crows - Chelsea
Pedro the Lion - Magazine and/or Diamond Ring
Death Cab for Cutie - Blacking Out the Friction

I could feel guilty about giving a plurality of "favorites," but instead I think I'm going to rejoice in the fact that part of the great thing about enjoying music is enjoying A LOT of it.

  • My favourite is Vito's Ordination Song. HappySad, BitterSweet and very beautiful.

  • my favourite sufjan song is the one that goes "she had a voice from last year's cough.. we passed around the phone" etc. that one is beautiful.
Don't know the title right now even though I own the record haha.

    I looked it up: Romulus!

favourite song all time: Nick Drake - From The Morning

  • Favorite Sufjan song-- It's a tie between The Dress Looks Nice on You and Flint (For the Unemployed).

Favorite Song Overall- Such a tough pick, but I feel like I never get bored with Ben Kweller's "How It Should Be". There could be a million more listed here though.

My favorite is Romulus and Casimir Pulaski Day. I don't think I can choose.

I also really like the live version of Chicago. I like it alot better than the recorded version at least.

My favorite song from any artist would be Pale Blue Eyes from The Velvet Underground.

  • Re: the Transfiguration

    Ditto on that.

It is great from both a musical and spiritual vantage point.

One of my favorite songs... ever

  • The Transiguration, with Holland taking a close second.

    For my other favorite:
Burn That Broken Bed - Iron & Wine

  • Oh, my god. I can't pick just one favorite, but I'll narrow it down to Casimir Pulaski Day, Oh God, Where Are You Now, and maybe Vito's Ordination Song.

Favorite of all time is hard too, Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space by Spiritualized is beautiful though

  • I would have to say Romulus or Chicago (live before it was released)

  • casimir pulaski day
