Breathing Space demo has got Demo of the Month in METAL HAMMER this
    month.

    Thats what they said:

'Woah. Like, gnarly little dude! We're all going to die aren't we?
Awesome! If this band were a cartoon character they'd be Otto the school
bus driver from The Simpsons. Hellaciously heavy and seditiously
stonerfied, this Belfast five piece probably pour bong water on their
Cornflakes and have who-can-roll-the-longest-spliff contests before
elevenses. This demo could do with some polish here and some tweaking
there, but really it captures a spirit of psychedelic and sandy noise
thats stands somewhere between Fu Manchu and Cathedral.

The guitar sound is pretty good, but I have to say I wasn't that impressed with the singer. Needs to improve his range & tonality a bit if you're going to stand out.
The band sounds pretty tight, the lead guitar work is pretty solid & the riffs are nice & heavy, if a little unadventurous.
Still, it's a pretty promising start & plenty there to work with.
Apologies if I've offended anyone with my comments, but I've always found honest opinions more useful.

  • Solid demo, but i thought it was missing the power behind the first EP.

  • Great band, great release.
