    I am disappointed in Songbird and it's team; I used to love Songbird and think it was the ultimate music-player with a pure focus on the music and library organization. I also used it very much with Linux, and it worked great! But things changed... Gone was Linux support, customizability, and in with useless "social" focus. Now, I no longer have a good music player for my library with out having to create a stupid playlist just to listen to my albums on Linux. And Nightingale doesn't work... For shame...

    I still like Songbird. Add-ons compatibility check should be turned off by developers and there will be no problems.

    hi everyone :) i've got a problem with my Songbird which doesnt scrobble all of songs - just every second, regularly. i've used it for a week and everything was ok until now. does anyone know sth about that? hope that someone will help me :)

    Has anyone else been having problems with the Library script running slow when starting Songbird? This has only just started happening to me this week.

    I tried using the feather "Tint" and I'm getting an error every time I start up SongBird. Would my best bet be to uninstall and then reinstall?

    Songbird is a great solution for me. I use the portable app installed on a USB thumb drive that I take to work with me. Last.fm is blocked at the office, but Songbird caches the tracks I listen to so I can scrobble them when I get home.

    New Version of Songbird 1.9.3 is available and could be installed with the "help" "updates" function. All my add-ons are still working. :-) Best thing: the performance when searching the library with the search field at the top on the right or when typing some letters is incredible good !!!

    Songbird just stopped working on Linux, no matter what release I try. I switched back to Rhythmbox.
