The band features Jay Farrar (Son Volt), Benjamin Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie, Postal Service), Nick Harmer (Death Cab for Cutie), Mark Spencer (Son Volt) and Jon Wurster (Superchunk, Bob Mould, The Mountain Goats). John Roderick will accompany Jay & Ben in Portland and Seattle. Sera Cahoone will open the shows in Boulder, Milwaukee and Minneapolis. Will Johnson will open in Austin. http://www.sonvolt.net/

  Finally added Gob Iron...Never thought to link a band to itself, but whatever, Son Volt is also linked. JS, I like The Search a lot. It is amazing and I love the brass that Jay added. I'd be hard pressed to say which is my favorite, though.

  I second the Gob Iron motion. So, like, do you folks feel like the Search is the best Son Volt album since Trace? It seems like Jay has turned a bit of a corner creatively... Or is it just me?
