Yep,the corpse is not fully rotten yet. Yes there are many, many copycats nowadays in the scene, but there is also space for some authentic acts as well. Martial Industrial was awlays about combining a variety of styles and that's make it an unique genre. I gues the scene will continue to evolve for good or bad,but i'm shure that it will not loose it's interest. Time will tell.

Martial Industrial is a nearly completely decaying corpse. Every now and then i get a thrill when i listen to some old releases and give it a try again but none of the new stuff lives up to the old standards. At best they are mere copies. Adieu !

Went to see Sol Invictus playing The Kiling Tide in Mannheim last night. Oniric and Apoptose played first but since i'm not really fond of their work i will refrain from voicing my opinion on their shows. I spent most of the time of Onirics show sitting outside "enjoying" the rather cool evening air and my Wodka-Lemon. Sol Invictus then. The show was quite good. Tony appeared to be in a good mood and obviously had fun playing. Especially in the second part of the gig (after the complete Killing Tide album they played a regular gig) where he also played more recent work. There where a lot of people in the crowd yearning to hear more old stuff but i often get the impression that this feels like work to him instead of fun. The reason for playing The Killing Tide was the death of the artist who took care of the original artwork (http://orexisofdeath.blogspot.com/2007/11/sol-invictus-killing-tide-1991-uk.html) for the cd, the concert yesterday was a tribute to him. Glad to have been there.

11 сентября 2011 лейбл Inhermanland Files выпустил свой 7-й релиз. Им стал новый материал от сибирского музпроекта HighTechDeath под названием Requiem For The Young World в виде одного 29-тиминутного трека, состоявшего из ярких неоклассических пассажей, индустриальных шумов и ритма машин, и даже сэмплов стихов от русской женщины. ----------------------------------------- September 11, 2011 the Inhermanland Files label released his 7th release. They became the new stuff from the Siberian music project HighTechDeath called Requiem For The Young World as the single 29 minutes track, which consisted of bright neoclassical passages, industrial noises and rhythm machines, and even samples of poems from some Russian woman. --------------- All the details in the catalog label: http://inhermanland.blogspot.com/p/catalog.html -------------------- thanks for your support of our small label) best regards, Mekhanizm.

That's really weird about Arditi's CD problem. I wonder what happened? Thanks for the PE rec's though! I envy the fact that you were able to see Genocide Organ live.

Yep, i did, but nothing in the field of martial. Have been listening to PE mostly the past months and was busy working on my own gear. I can recommend Strada from Maska Genetik and the new Genocide Organ which was released yesterday. The show in Mannheim was brilliant ! I also got my hands on the new Arditi which, sadly enough, doesn't thrill me at all. It's Arditi as we know them but imho not a single track stands out. The reason it took so long before it got released is because the entire first batch of cd's turned out to be unreadable.
