For many of us finding grunge music was one of the best things to ever happen in our lives. It gave us something to confide in whatever our emotions may be. It changed us for the better and made us feel like we belonged -- like we were home. Through the grunge fandom we've made life-long friends who feel all the same things we do.

The only way we know how to express our love for grunge is through the grunge shirt. It is a project that will follow a single t-shirt on its journey all over the world, crossing oceans and into the hands of about fifty individuals. The entire journey will be documented through photographs, film, and on Tumblr. Those who receive the shirt will add their name to the back in tour fashion. The shirt will be laid to rest in Seattle. The grunge movement of the early 90s may have passed, but it is not forgotten. We’re trying to establish a tangible representation for our appreciation of the movement and its effects on our lives today, and we're doing it all for grunge.
