Everything (A Book About Manic Street Preachers)
Sean Anthony Moore is the song-writer, drummer, percussionist and trumpet player of the Welsh rock band Manic Street Preachers.
He was born on July 30, 1968 in Pontypool, Monmouthshire and he attended the local Oakdale Comprehensive in Blackwood with his cousin James Dean Bradfield.
He meet here other future band member, his classmate Richey Edwards.

So Blackwood is a very small miner's town.
It is well known that Moore is a shopaholic, and whenever the band tours, he frequently leaves with a lot more luggage than he arrived with. "I want everything to look like it's just come out of the wrapper," he told The Face. "I love the smell of, say, a Walkman when you first unwrap it. If it's got a scratch on it, that's it. That's the way I am."
Sean's approach to the drum-stool is also especially utilitarian. During sessions for The Holy Bible, his approach to the process of music-making made him sound more like a briefcase-clutching office drone that a million-selling rock star. "I used to commute in on the train," he explains. "Regular work. Drum until six and then go home. It was like a little office job."
He is a fan of Liverpool F.C. & Michael Schumacher.
He has been married his childhood sweetheart, Rhian, since 2000 and they live with their daughter Matilda Poppy and son Felix Philip Oscar Moore.

My first manics video was 'Ocean Spray'. Motorcycle Emptiness doesn't get played here at all but I always thought that Mr. Moore looked great on the Motorcycle Emptiness video!

Right now, I'm obsessed at spotting those tracks where he's singing backing vocals. I know about Solitude Sometimes Is, and as much I'd like to believe that he's the one on the verses on Miss Europa Disco Dancer, my head tells me that it's Nicky instead. =P
