A free, open source BlackBerry scrobbler.

New: Version 0.2 is out. Added offline mode, cache manager, skipping songs with N/P keys and holding down volume keys, several bug fixes. Offline mode can be accessed by entering the media player while disconnected.

(old): Version 0.1.2 is out, app now remembers your volume setting between songs and application restarts.

(old): Version 0.1.1 is out, player now pauses on receiving phone call.

i have a problem with the connection method. what option should i choose, tcp/ip, bes, or wifi? ive tried all of them but failed:(

After resolving my previous problem, maybe you can help out with this... I have the same issue as MegaBillZilla, it asks for permission every time it accesses my Media Card. I've set the app's permissions to 'allow' all but the nag persists. Tried redownloading with a clear cache but no go. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! (P.S. Still looking for a RIM API for the BB Media Player? Seen this -->http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/6.0.0api/net/rim/plazmic/mediaengine/MediaPlayer.html ?)

Curve 8900 works as well. Design was inspired by vi-editor? Kinda like it, especially the caching function. Good Work!

This app used to work on my Curve 8300 until it just stopped recently. Are they working on another version any time soon?

Works like a charm on my Bold 9870 with OS 6. Any news on the development front? Has the situation regarding scrobbling from the native media player changed with OS 6?

I've got the Storm 2 9550, and the touch screen doesn't seem to be working. I am unable to type a username or password on the screen. Only the context menu displays (it launches from a physical button, not part of the touch screen), and when I attempt to navigate the folder structure on the phone, pushing on the touch screen only "selects" what was highlighted by default, not what I'm actually wanting to navigate to. Help!

not that i know of. if you can find an API or a way for third-party apps to grab track info from the default BB player, please let me know, i would be keen on implementing that.
