  • Sorry^__^... Fucking connecting...

  • Check out Indukti's SUSAR. I hope it's not against the rules to post links here...

    Error: No error.
  • My favourites:

Morningrise and Blackwater park - Opeth
    Animals - Pink Floyd
    Precambrian - The Ocean

  • Scariot - Momentum Shift
    Evergrey - Solitude Dominance Tragedy
Evergrey - In Search of Truth
    Enslaved - Isa
    Ihsahn - The Adversary
    Opeth - Morningrise!!!!

  • Considering that Opeth has to be my favorite band that can be put into the "progressive" category, it has to be Opeth's Morningrise. Tool's Lateralus would be a close 2nd.

    Venerean- my minimal ambient/drone project

    Tool - Lateralus
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
    Tool - 10000 Days
Opeth - Can't decide between so many amazing albums like: Black Water Park, Damnation, Ghost Reveries, Morningrise

Also, Aenema and the Wall should probably be on there as well.

Chroma Key - Dead Air For Radios
    OSI - Free
Current 93 - Nature Unveiled (I've never heard any song more "progressive" -- In the literal sense, not the "we can play our guitar uselessly fast without any actual musical ability" interpretation -- Than Maldoror Rising.)
Dream Theater - Images and Words (Well, basically any DT album from before Scenes from a Memory)
    King Crimson - Discipline
Porcupine Tree - Up The Downstair
Pink Floyd - A Saucerful of Secrets

I would've listed Tool, if Maynard weren't the most pretentious person to have ever unfortunately lived on this earth.

  • I dont consider Pink Floyd to be a progressive band, it has some of that but to me is more like psychedelic rock! ...anyway my favorite prog albums are:

Opeth - MAYH and Black Waterpark
    Dream Theater - Awake
    Tool - 10000 Days
Special mention to: Superior - Behind
...and if we consider PF progressive then 'Animals' would be my entry.
