Fan group of Mudvayne bassist, Ryan "RDM" Martinie.

Ryan Martinie (Also known as “RyKnow”, “Ru-d” and “RDM”) is an American bassist, best known for being the bass player of alternative nu-metal band Mudvayne. He is well known for his unique playing style and complex basslines. He is widely considered as one of the premiere bassists of today. He has been with the band since 1998. He is the officially a Warwick Bass endorser, owning more than 10 Warwick basses (most of them are Thumb models).

Born in 1975 in Peoria, Illinois, Ryan was raised in a Christian non-denominational church where his grandfather was one of the choir leaders, so he was exposed to a great deal of hymns, orchestral music, and other forms of non secular music. His father also played several instruments. His father gave him his first bass at the age of twelve.

He studied jazz bass, and won several high school awards for classical vocals.
He was in a Dream Theater-styled progressive rock band called Broken Altar, however he was approached by members of Mudvayne, who were impressed by his playing, and was asked to join the band. He said that he saw at the very beginning that the Mudvayne members were very serious with the whole band thing, so he left Broken Altar and joined Mudvayne. After his appointment as a bass player, success of the band started to rise instantly, because he added many influences in the sound of the band. Himself and Matt McDonough formed a strong rhytm section partnership, which is considered to be one of the most skillful in metal.
