RDH started out in 2006 when Rens & Joost had the idea to be in a band. Then the drummer Wesley and Arjan, the bassplayer, joined the band as well. Now they were with the four of them. In september 2006 they had their first gig and played covers of Greenday and Blink 182. After less than a half year they started writing their own music and lyrics.
Running Downhill's first EP, called "Punchlines & Prophecies", came out in March 2008.
